Printmaking workshop zine

This zine was created as a brief introduction to printmaking for my own workshop. Illustrations were sourced and manipulated as well as hand-drawn by me, intended for risograph output in three colours. The zine was researched, written and designed to cover the basic origins of print in China, to paper production, the Gutenberg press while showcasing some printmaking methods and processes. Inspiration is shown via famous artists such as Rembrandt, Warhol, Banksy and Hokusai.

As this project and subject matter is based on physical use, the zine is meant to be held so that the colours can be taken in, in all it’s glory - allowing the user to revere in print and the process of printmaking by hand.
